These are a few of the most commonly asked questions. If your question is not answered here, please include them on our quote request form or give us a call at (619) 764-2352.
1. Do you have to walk on the roof?
In short “YES.” The reason is simple. Using a lift to reach your roof is not effective, because they don’t get you close enough to the tiles to thoroughly clean them. Using a ladder also limits accessibility of the entire roof surface, and it is dangerous. Spraying chemicals from the ground to clean the roof surface is effective to a certain degree. However, the use of harsh chemicals is harmful to your plant life, hazardous to your health, and illegal in California.
2. Do you break tiles?
In most cases, tile roofs can be easily and safely walked on when using the proper techniques. We wouldn’t recommend the average person try it themselves. Untrained attempts could cause breakage. There are only a few types of tiles we cannot walk on - lightweight and hand-made, Mexican tiles are a few we can’t accommodate.
3. Are you able to pressure wash the rest of the house after the roof?
Following any roof-cleaning job, we recommend you allow us to clean your walls, hardscape and windows. We offer significant discounts when these services are performed on the same day.
4. Does it create a large mess?
Washing decades worth of dirt and algae off of roofs and washing gutters clean will create quite a mess. Not to worry, we make sure to clean up the mess we create. We also clean up any over-spray that enters your neighbors yard.
5. Do you clean gutters?
If your home has gutters, we wash them for free with every roof-cleaning job.

6. Can you do windows afterward?
Yes we can! We offer both interior and exterior window-cleaning services.
7. How long does it take?
Homes up to 5,000 square feet can usually be completed in one day. Larger homes may take 2-3 days, depending on the size and scope of the work performed. The average 2,000-3,000 square foot home takes us about 6 hours to complete.
8. How long have you been cleaning roofs?
We have been cleaning roofs for more than two years. Our techniques and skills have been continuously improving, gaining us a solid reputation as San Diego’s most trusted roof cleaning company!
9. How much does it cost?
Obviously we don’t have a single price. After submitting your information on our quote request page, we can provide you with a quote tailored to your specific needs. We provide fast, easy estimates once you provide us your details.
10.What kind of neighborhood rates do you offer?
Working with neighbors will benefit you greatly in terms of discounts. We offer up to hundreds of dollars off each home on multi-home neighborhood discounts.
11. What do I need to do to prepare?
1. Remove hanging objects from walls. 2. Close all windows and lock shut. 3. Move your car out of the garage if you plan on using it. 4. Possibly give notice to your immediate neighbors to inform them of our arrival and have them close their windows if necessary. 5. Don’t worry! Just relax and anticipate a beautiful outcome.
